A cross-platform invoicing app for freelancers and small businesses — create and send professional invoices, get paid through Stripe, and manage subscriptions. I built it from the ground up as the sole mobile engineer at Applica.

iOvaro is a cross-platform invoicing app for freelancers and small businesses: build professional invoices and estimates from a multi-step editor, export them as branded PDFs, and get paid online. I built it from the ground up as a contractor at Applica, owning the mobile architecture end to end.

I implemented the full document builder across four PDF templates, customer management and multi-currency support, then wired up the money side: Stripe Connect so users get paid via generated payment links, and RevenueCat for in-app subscriptions. Auth, security and data ran on Firebase — social and email sign-in, an OTP flow, passcode plus biometric lock, Firestore and Cloud Functions.

Beyond features I owned the architecture decisions, release management and both the App Store and Play Store submissions, and mentored a junior developer through code reviews and pair programming. The product went from concept to a production release in roughly three months.
